A Quiet Practice
of Listening to Yourself.
You don’t need incense, robes, or twenty minutes. You need your LUNEBORNE piece, your breath, and the willingness to mark a moment as sacred. Twice a month is plenty.
The Smallest Sacred Thing
Modern life rewards constant motion. Ritual is what we use to interrupt it — a deliberate pause that says this matters, and so do I. The Moon offers a built-in cadence: every twenty-eight days, two clear hinges (New and Full) where you can stop, breathe, and notice what has changed.
A ritual doesn’t have to be elaborate. It only has to be yours.
The Ritual of Beginning
The dark sky is a blank page. Use it.
Quiet the Room
Find a corner. Light a candle. Wear your LUNEBORNE bracelet, or hold the pendant in your palm. Let the small weight of crystal anchor you.
Three Breaths
Close your eyes. Breathe in for four counts, hold for four, release for six. Repeat three times. Feel the day’s noise fall away.
Set One Intention
Write a single sentence on the intention card we shipped with your piece. Not a to-do list. One quiet thing you want to invite in this lunar cycle.
Place & Wait
Tuck the card under your crystal on a shelf or windowsill. Forget about it. Return at the next Full Moon and notice how far you’ve grown.
The Ritual of Releasing
When the light is full, what no longer fits becomes visible.
Step Outside
If the sky is clear, take your piece into moonlight for ten minutes. If not, place it on a windowsill where the light reaches.
Read Last Cycle’s Card
Find the New Moon intention you wrote two weeks ago. Read it slowly. Notice what shifted — outside you, and inside you.
Name Your Gratitude
Write three things you are grateful for from this cycle. Specific things. Small things count more than large.
Burn or Keep
If the intention is complete, burn the card safely. If it’s ongoing, keep it under the crystal for one more cycle. Trust the timing.
Cleansing Your LUNEBORNE
Crystals carry energy — yours, and others’. Once a month, give them a moment to reset. Choose any one of the three.
Moonlight
Place your piece on a windowsill from sunset to sunrise on a Full Moon night. Safe for every crystal. Our preferred method, and the one Eleanor uses.
Selenite Plate
Rest your piece on a selenite slab for at least four hours. Selenite is the only crystal that cleanses itself — it never needs charging.
Sage Smoke
Pass your piece three times through the smoke of dried white sage or palo santo. Quick, portable, traditional. Good for travel.
Avoid soaking in salt water or direct strong sunlight — both can fade crystal color over time, and salt corrodes the 14K gold-plated hardware.
Mark Your Calendar
The next four New Moons — the easiest hinges to begin with.
